Description

This could well be the first of a number of walks led by Dave Miller and looking at London's Parks this summer.

We'll meet at Great Portland Street Tube Station (Marylebone exit) at 11.30am. Then we'll walk to the 'The Honest Sausage' cafe for midday tea and a light bite, moving off by 12.30pm or when ready for a 2 hour walk led by Dave Miller around the Park; bird watching on the lake (wild birds plus a pinioned collection of most British and many other ducks); visiting the community wildlife garden and finally coming back through the beautifully maintained, formal Avenue Gardens. Voluntary donations for CLHG willingly accepted! If you're coming don't forget to check for week-end tube line closures, and bring binoculars if you have them.
